Jay McWilliams is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Functional

Strength Coach. Jay has spent the last fifteen years in the fitness and recreation industry and has over

four years of personal training experience here in the valley. Jay holds a Bachelors Degree in Education from University of Arkansas and a Masters Degree in Recreation from George Williams College. After spending three years as Director of Personal Training at a busy local gym, Jay has decided to specialize and create his own training business, Training Longevity, based out of Peddar Fitness. Training Longevity arises out of Jay’s passion for

working with the baby boomer population who may be new to exercise, recovering from injuries and limitations,

or looking to continue with athletic pursuits and active lives. Jay is passionate about coaching through personal

and small group training to help all clients reach their full potential of an active and healthy life style at any age. Whether personal training or small group training, Jay’s attention to detail regarding form and knowledge of

anatomy and corrective exercise will provide you with the safe and effective approach you need for long

term health and function. Outside the gym, Jay enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, hiking,

and bicycling, with his wife Rose and daughter Ivy, and dog Felix.
